Crunch and other business closed then due to Covid and when it reopened in June, I was charged for the following 3 months. ![]() The pass was starting on - I was not supposed to get charged for 90 days from that date. I did this at Northridge crunch but was never told I could not do any kind of business at that branch. I was given 90 days card pass on my account for amount that I had already paid for my daughters membership renewal and I was told a credit could not be given to my account. Was not honored a 90 days pass that I was given and was charged 3 months membership on an account that was on hold. Their communication is extremely unprofessional and now they have resorted to harassment. I don't live in this state, no one will respond to my inquires, and now they want to send me to collections for a membership I was unable to use due to the pandemic. Now today I received a text from Crunch threatening to send me to collections if I don't start a new membership. These repeated attempts were ignored by Crunch management and they have since increased the balance on my account. After emailing ***** the manager back and forth we escalated the issue to ******** the regional manager stating we would like to cancel the membership. The manager at the gym stated we could not cancel our membership because of the outstanding balance. My membership has had a 45 dollar outstanding balance since April when they were closed, and again, the website stated and still states to IGNORE this balance as the club is CLOSED. after deciding to move to another state I attempted to cancel my membership, my wife's membership cancellation went through without issue. I was charged AGAIN in November for 80 dollars so I attempted to get into contact with crunch again and in January was finally able to cancel the membership but at that point was charged an additional 191.7. In August I noticed another charge for 132.90 so I called my bank again and had them issue a refund and a second stop payment. By the end of July I had been charged a total of 129.85 dollars so I called my bank and had then issue a stop payment and thought that the issue would be resolved. In June I was charged 76 dollars so I once again tried calling and emailing still with no answer. I attempted to contact Crunch over the phone and through email because they charged me after closing the gym but I was unsuccessful in reaching anyone and wasn't charged anything for a couple more months so I just assumed they stopped charging due to the closure. ![]() I signed up for this gym in march of 2020 right before the pandemic hit and everything closed. ![]()
